NEW CLIENTS - FIRST APPOINTMENTS - Please be open and honest about how dirty your house if or how often you clean your home.
For new reoccurring clients - the first appointment will be more in depth and more cleaning surface coverage. Homeowners may not disclose truthfully the level of dirty that the state of the house is in. In this case we can adjust the price accordingly. If your home is deep clean level we will charge the deep clean price per hour.
2 Hour Minimum - If the cleaner is in the home less that 2 hours we will bill for 2 hours. Please provide enough things for the cleaner to do while she is there.
Tips to have the most effective cleaning session -
Picking up floors and putting things away ensures your cleaning is more effective. Cleaners do not know where things go in your home. If we spend time tidying up that is less time we spend cleaning. If we cannot reach it will not get cleaned. We reserve the right to charge more if we feel the house is misrepresented.
Please have our checklist printed and filled out. Cleaners are trained to clean from our checklist if that isn’t available please leave a detailed list/note for them and any details that will help your cleaner be as successful as she can be.
Having a detailed list of what you want cleaned helps us know what specific areas need cleaning the most and helps us to not spend time cleaning something that may not need attention.
Cleaning takes time so your entire list may not be accomplished in the time scheduled. Please prioritize.
Each cleaner is equipped with a Shark vacuum, a Norwex mop, Norwex towels and a bag of all natural cleaning sprays and supplies.
If you would like the cleaner to use specific cleaning supplies in certain areas please leave those out along with a specific instructions.
Provide garbage sacs for each garbage can and let us know where your outdoor trash can is plus any details we need to know when taking out the trash.
In the event the cleaners vacuum stops working they will ask to use your vacuum to finish the appointment.
***If you want to add any deep items to your cleaning/checklist please schedule those prior to your appointment. We will bill accordingly. If you want to upgrade your basic cleaning appointment to a deep appointment that needs to be scheduled in advance. Cleaners do not carry with them deep cleaning supply and will not do deep items unless scheduled in advance.

Deep Cleanings are scheduled with TWO cleaners. No exceptions. This insures the safety of our cleaners.
50% Booking Fee. Non refundable - Payment is Appointment Confirmation
For an entire floor plan deep clean we will schedule for two appointments in 3/4 hour blocks.
Deep Cleans include Move out/Move in appointments as well as remodel clean up appointments. We vacuum all surfaces prior to wiping down everything. It is part of the process and we will not clean without vacuuming.
Exact times vary depending on the level of dirty in each room. If we do not finish in the first appointment we will contact you about setting up a second appointment.
After your appointment we will send an invoice with the remaining amount due.
If you have a budget and would like us to stick to an amount please contact us prior to the appointment to work out a plan.
Deep Cleans a 50% deposit/payment is required at booking to confirm your appointment.
IF WE CANNOT REACH IT SAFELY - WE WILL NOT CLEAN IT.
We will not come to your scheduled cleaning if it is not confirmed. Deep Clean appointments are time consuming and involve muscle. Please be aware some items on the list may not get done in the time the cleaners are there. We may have to schedule another appointment.
We do not give deep clean quotes.
We do not know how much time it will take to clean your checklist. Every home is different and everyones level of dirty is not the same. Some things take longer to scrub than others.
Kitchens can take 5+ hours to deep clean. Master Bathrooms can take 2+ hours to deep clean. An entire 1500 square foot main floor deep clean can take 12/16 hours minimum to clean.
If the cleaners are uncomfortable at any time they have the right to end the appointment and leave.
Windows are a DEEP CLEAN charge.
We can request a quote from Nuvu Window Washing to do windows inside and out. They have all the right equipment and can get them washed more efficiently than we can saving you time and money! We do not do outside windows. We will do inside windows we can reach at the deep clean charge. Please schedule windows prior to your appointment so we come with the supplies needed.

If you need to cancel or reschedule please text asap.
Please provide a safe space for the cleaner to clean in. If at anytime the cleaner feels uncomfortable she has the right to leave and you will be billed accordingly.
Better Cleaning employees are trained to clean from our checklist.
***Animal urine/feces clean up on site will be a $50 added charge. - If you have small or large pets please contain or kennel them before the cleaner arrives. We cannot guarantee a clean home/floor if your pets are sharing the floor with the cleaner. If there is mouse poop or dead mice please disclose this information before we arrive.
We try our best to have a consistent cleaner for every scheduled cleaning. Our employees get sick, have kids that get sick, they take vacations, find new jobs or have emergencies and may need days/time off just like real people. When this happens we try our best to send a substitute cleaner. If we do not have a substitute cleaner we will reschedule your appointment or give you the option to skip it.
Renovation clean up, Move in or Move out Cleanings are a Deep Clean. We can give a rough estimate but we will not give appointment price quotes. Each home and floor plan is unique and each comes with a different time requirement. We cannot calculate how much time we will be in your home or if we need to book a second appointment to finish the checklist.
We reserve the right to charge the deep clean price if we feel the house is misrepresented.

Payment -
All payments will be through email invoicing. Invoices will be sent after your
scheduled cleaning.
We will not continue reoccurring appointments if your payment account isn’t current. We will send a reminder text if payment is overdue. We will not continue your schedule if you have canceled three consecutive times. We will send you a cancelation text and/or email letting you know we have terminated your continuing schedule.
Deep Clean Payment - requires a 50% deposit/payment at booking to confirm your appointment.
Commercial Accounts $40 per hour. Vacation Rentals (Airbnb. Vacasa. Vrbo) $40 per hour.
Cancelation policy -
Contact us a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. Last minute cancelations will be subject to a $50 fee. If you have a travel fee attached to your invoice and you cancel at the door we will bill you for the travel fee plus cancelation fee = $50 plus $15.
Contract -
We do not have you sign an official contract. You are agreeing to Better Cleaning pricing and policies when you book your appointment. We trust that you are honest in disclosing the level of “dirty” and that you will demonstrate good character and pay the amount due in a timely manner.
We set up a open ended schedule to secure that time slot for you. To cancel your reoccurring schedule please let us know asap.
We are licensed, bonded and insured. By committing to a reoccurring schedule with us you are agreeing to all Better Cleaning LLC policies and terms of service. Updated January 2024
